Nowadays I live in Austin, Texas, but I was born and raised (and lived most of my life) in Houston. I lived in North Yorkshire, England in the early 80s. I graduated from St. John's School and Rice University. I have a bachelor's and a master's in history from Rice.
I'm married to Michael Croft and I'm a technical writer by trade.
I used to have a weblog where I coordinated 100 installments of the Game WISH project, among many other things. I also used to contribute to the 20' By 20' Room. Nowadays I have a journal.

I'm in several play-by-email RPGs and a FTF campaign or two. I've got a list of active characters and a much longer list of retired ones that really needs some updating. Despite the current appearance of the active list, I do play things other than Amber.
I post my Amber trumps to the Deck of Realities. I used to paint 25mm gaming figurines, some of which are now in a web gallery.
